Health Benefits of Pumpkin
I love Fall, it's my absolute favorite time of year.  The crisp cool air, the beautiful colors on the trees, leaves crunching beneath your feet, and of course the harvest.  Pumpkin pies, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin muffins and breads all taste yummy; but there are smarter ways to enjoy this wonderful gift from nature.

The pumpkin is actually loaded with nutrients right down to the seeds.  A healthy snack my girls live is Organic Pumpkin seeds, and I love to toss them in a salad.

Here are the nutrition benefits of Pumpkin Seeds
- Rich source of fiber- 1/4 cup has 5 grams
- Rich in Protein- 1/4 cup has 10 grams
- Rich source of Magnesium- 1/2 cup is 95% of your DV
- Good source of Potassium, phosphorus, zinc, & iron

The benefits to your body;
prostate protection, anti-inflammatory, improved bladder function, treating depression, lowering cholesterol, cancer prevention, and magnesium deficiency (which most of us are!)
